![]() I think the dominant effect is that we all have a much lower "No Drop" chance compared to vanilla. So it's slightly better for us.Īs far as I can tell, the odds for rune class 12 and 14 did not change at all (interpreting the file with HxD). In 1455 cases out of 1462 RNG chooses the door to the lower rune class. In PD2 if you are in rune class 13 the odds are a little bit different. In 1519 cases out of 1524 cases RNG chooses the door to the lower rune class (so you don't get your Vex or Gul). In vanilla if you are in the rune class 13 it contains Vex & Gul and the door to runes 12 class. But I'm no expert this is the first time I have done this.īut it's not that big of a deal I give you an example: At some points they lowered the propability to get a lower rune compared to vanilla. I looked into the mpq files with a hex editor. Just my two cents, I know it is not easy to get rid of bots so the above are quite ideal. As far as I can tell, they did not change that much. On the other hand, it really make the day for those who are fortunate enough to get the ultra rare loots, right? Imagine how happy you would feel if you are the few lucky ones to have looted a “legit” tyrael’s might with the current drop rate, and compare it to if the drop rate has become as common as a shako/ stormshield You or legit players unable to get the ultra rare loots because the rate is too low - it is fair for every legit players when everyone is not getting the loot, might as well imagine the item is non-existent. Otherwise, it is true that you can’t prevent your neighbor next door bragging a Zod they traded in (maybe even bought with real money), but you can always laugh at their sanity Other people getting the ultra rare gear via “abnormal” means - this could be solved if point 1 is solved, so there are no more “abnormal” means. I believe the solution is to disable the bot instead of turning the game around so it is not attractive to bot anymore (similar concept as gold-sellers in other mmo, only dead games are truly free from gold sellers and their bots) It sounds to me there are 3 matters at hand:īots - regardless of drop rate, bots are bound to create unfairness to legit players. ![]()
